BASF plasticizer Hexamoll® DINCH grows from strength to strength
- Production capacity doubles to 200,000 metric tons per year due to strong demand
- Construction of a second production plant in Ludwigshafen increases supply security worldwide
BASF is planning to double production of its phthalate-free plasticizer Hexamoll® DINCH from 100,000 metric tons to 200,000 metric tons per year at the Ludwigshafen site by 2013. Therefore a second production plant will now be built in Ludwigshafen. This will enhance supply security worldwide while continuing to ensure consistently high quality.

NEWS: New PVC Today issue
The new issue of PVC Today contains information about Hexamoll® DINCH for the use in medical devices. In addition PVC Today informs about the salt production and utilization. Salts are the base for over 10 000 secondary products. For example industrial salt is the basis for a multilateral spectrum of PVC-goods.

Chinese GB-Standard for Food Contact Application
The Chinese Authorities finished the final version of the revised GB-Standard 9685-2008 for Food Contact Application. Hexamoll ® DINCH is included in this new version, without any restrictions on usage.

Fresh food is essential to have a balanced diet. Therefore you need efficient and proper packaging, so that perishable products stay fresh.
